Frequently Asked Questions

IN-VISIBLE offers many different services. It's easy to lose track. Here you will find answers to the questions we are asked most often. If that doesn't help, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

Collaboration

I'm interested in working with you, but I'm not yet sure if it's the right fit: How can I get to know IN-VISIBLE?

We offer all potential clients a non-binding introductory call to give you the chance to ask all your questions and get an overview of how we work. Just email us at hi@in-visible.berlin to schedule a call.

How much do the IN-VISIBLE offers cost?

Our prices vary depending on the format and effort required. We work with daily rates. You can receive a price overview via email.

Do you also offer workshops outside Berlin? Under what conditions?

Yes, we are happy to travel outside Berlin. We charge a flat rate based on the travel time to your location. This flat rate includes transportation, meals, opportunity costs, and accommodation if needed. The fee is charged per trainer. You can find details in our price overview, which we’ll send you via email.

Does it cost extra if workshops are held in English?

No, the costs for our services are the same in English and German.

How interactive are the workshops/inputs?

We prioritise creating spaces for active learning and exchange rather than just delivering content in a purely frontal manner. That’s why interactive methods make up a large part of the workshop. Even our inputs include short reflection exercises and Q&A elements.

Do you also offer hybrid workshops/inputs?

Our workshops are usually either online or in person — not hybrid. Because our formats are interactive, hybrid setups tend to disadvantage some participants. If a hybrid delivery is absolutely necessary, feel free to reach out and we’ll look for a solution together.

I haven't read anything about coaching. Can you help us with this too?

Yes, we strongly believe in the value of coaching. In collaboration with systemic coaches, we offer coaching for individuals and teams. It can also be combined with workshops, for example, to support managers in practically implementing what they’ve learned.

Trainers

How do I know who the trainer for my workshop will be?

We assign the trainer who is the best fit for your topic based on expertise and experience. We recommend booking two trainers to bring in diverse social perspectives, which is a higher benefit to the participants. If you would like to work with a specific trainer, we’ll do our best to accommodate that depending on availability.

What expertise do your trainers have?

Our trainers combine academic, professional, and community-based perspectives on diversity. Their backgrounds include gender studies, social sciences, psychology, business, and design thinking. They bring experience from research, education, innovation consulting, communications, and change management.

Content

Your website focuses a lot on gender equity. Does IN-VISIBLE also cover other diversity topics?
Yes. We offer formats that focus specifically on gender equity – such as our “Equity concerns us all” workshop – as well as others that address other dimensions of diversity. We take an intersectional approach in all of our formats, so the interplay of multiple social categories is always considered.

I don't find anything about racism on your website. Do you offer anything on this topic?

Yes, we do. In collaboration with experts from our network, we offer formats on almost all forms of discrimination, including racism. Let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll connect you with the right trainer.

Why are your workshops standardised? What does that mean exactly?

IN-VISIBLE has been around for five years. During this time, we’ve learned a lot – for example, that many organisations, across industries and cultures, face similar diversity “pain points.” Our standardised workshops are based on these insights and experiences we’ve accumulated over the years. However, we still always hold a preparatory call with all of our clients to tailor content to your specific context and provide suitable examples for your situation.

Can you also adapt your workshops to our needs? Is that more expensive?

Yes, we love designing content just for you. To do this, we’ll ask you a lot of questions, with the aim to understand exactly where you stand and what your needs are. We then develop a custom format and keep refining it with you. The costs for a custom format are calculated based on our daily rates. After we’ve had an initial call, we’ll send you an offer within 3-5 business days (Mon - Thu).

Formats

Which formats do you offer?

We typically offer 3- and 5-hour workshops, either online or in person. For online delivery, 5-hour workshops are split into two sessions to avoid screen fatigue. Beyond that, we’re happy to design custom workshops — tailored in length, content, or method.

What other formats do you offer beyond workshops?

In addition to workshops, we offer consulting, inputs (interactive mini-lectures) and e-learning formats. You can also book us for panels or invite our experienced speakers and trainers to other event formats.

What kind of consulting do you provide?

If you’re just starting out with DEI, we offer a DEI Starter Kit, which includes a consulting session and the IN-VISIBLE Map for follow-up. If you're ready to go deeper, our (Un)Learning Journey offers a full package of consulting and events. We also provide fully customised consulting, from employee surveys and strategy development to creative DEI initiatives. Just get in touch!

What's the IN-VISIBLE (Un)learning Journey?

The (Un)Learning Journey is an easy, low-barrier way for organisations to begin working on diversity, equity, and inclusion. It includes a series of inputs, workshops and Q&A sessions that we plan together based on an initial status quo assessment. The goal is long-term staff sensitisation and engagement with DEI. You can also book individual modules of the journey.
